Lavender Jadeite Ring Rosette Cut (6.25+ct) Sapphires and Diamonds, size 7
Lavender Jadeite Ring Rosette Cut (6.25+cts.) in Sapphires and Diamonds
Christies called this ring, "very well made."
18k White Gold
Extremely saturated lavender color makes this ring unique. No dyes.
Comes with our premium packaging, cream lizard with gold accents and cream leather inside a Chateau Peridot protective cover box.
Hand set in 18kt white gold with over 50 antique rosette cut white diamonds and multicolored (blue-purple) sapphires believed to be unheated and the jadeite was viewed by Christie's Hong Kong team and they did not report any indication of treatment on the gorgeous translucent jadeite cabochon or sapphires. Ring would have a reserve at auction of 4000.00
Large, 23 x 25 x 12mm Burmese lavender jadeite cabochon center stone.
We know there are several carats of antique cut vintage rosette diamonds and multi colored sapphires. We were told there was at least 6.25 plus carats of accent stones (conservatively, approx. 3.00+ carats of diamonds and 3.25+ sapphires. However, we have never had the ring disassembled for accurate weights because of the labor involved and the cost as well as the possibility of damage to this. We strongly feel the carat weight on diamonds and sapphires is considerably higher than we estimated, so we choose to err in our customers favor.
Intense, Vivid saturated Lavender jadeite of high quality from Burma, finely polished in the traditional bamboo method.
Set with vintage cut rosette white diamonds and antique cut purple and blue cornflower sapphires, showing no eye visible signs of heat and sapphires probably from Burma as well.
Outstanding quality, agreed upon by everyone in the profession who has viewed the ring. It would be expensive to have a full certification but we would love to do one if the buyer agrees to pay the GIA fees or Mason Kay fees (Fully refunded if buyer not happy with reports).
Called, "Beautiful, well made ring of high quality," by Christies Auction House who wanted to include the ring in their online auction. At that time we declined to sell the ring but we have decided to sadly put this remarkable ring on the market. We purchased this ring while living in our historic Virginia home, Chateau Peridot.
This all hand made custom piece was possibly reassembled from stones taken from an earlier ring of the rosette period of gem cutting and updated for the owner.
Some stones are mounted in reverse for a lavish effect which was called, "clever," by the NY Fine Gem Curator Dept. of Christie's Auction House.
This could be the buy of the year on our site. We hope the buyer loves this ring as much as we have loved owning it.
